Cyrias, integrator of the Ivalua platform since 2018, supports its French and international customers in the implementation of P2P and S2C modules within their organisation. Thanks to the experience acquired through the support of more than 15 customers equipped with SAP, our teams have developed a methodology and recognised expertise in interfacing the Ivalua solution with SAP (ECC6/S4).

One of the key elements to consider to ensure the success of an Ivalua project connected to SAP, is the importance of having an excellent understanding of the data models of both platforms (Ivalua and SAP) in order to be able to define the right integration strategy from a business perspective.

Thanks to our combined functional and business skills, our teams are able to effectively support Ivalua customers throughout all phases of their SAP interfacing project in particular on the connections between the Sourcing and Procurement modules of the Ivalua platform with the MM (Material Management) and FI (Finance) SAP modules.

Our methodology consists in accompanying our clients through the following 5 phases:

01 Scoping

We support our clients from the scoping phase in order to assess how the SAP system(s) have been implemented and to identify the processes deployed in the ERP. The objective is to separate the business processes that will remain in SAP from those that will be managed in the Ivalua platform.

This step is key as it allows us to design the overall application integration architecture, to define the interfacing protocol (SFTP, API, webservices, etc.), to decide whether or not to use middleware and to select the right file format (Idoc, BAPI, webservices, flat file).

02 Design

During this phase, our teams lead cross-functional workshops involving purchasing, finance, IT, etc. The objective is to determine the optimal architecture to be implemented between the information systems and to integrate data volume and performance considerations into this analysis.

03 Implementation, Unit and integration test

Our teams are composed of certified consultants experienced in the implementation of complex configurations integrated with SAP. The success of our methodology is based on the early involvement of the integrator on the SAP side and of the customers, during the entire unit testing and integration phase.

04 Go-Live activities

Our teams remain mobilised during the production phase of Ivalua projects in order to secure the successful roll-out of the interfaces, in particular to ensure the alignment of the master data, the recovery of existing data and monitoring the proper performance of the interfaces. Our continuous involvement enables to ensure that the referential and operational data are well shared between the systems.

05 Tierce Maintenance Applicative (TMA)

Within the scope of an S4 migration or an Ivalua project upgrade, our teams are able to assist you in analysing the gaps between versions (SAP ECC, SAP S4, Ivalua and its versioning),facilitating arbitration and recommending adjustments to be made.
